Bird’s Eye Chilis are beloved for their fruity, peppery flavor and intense slow-building heat. Unlike many hot chillis, you’ll actually be able to taste some hints of fruit-like flavours. Our aromatic Madagascan Chilis are sourced to you fresh and directly from our farms in Madagascar.

They are good to use as an all-purpose chili when a good deal of heat is needed, either whole or ground. They are great for marinades and seasoning blends. Another popular use for them is to infuse vinegar and olive oil; which can be used in salad dressings or drizzled over pizzas.

In this recipe we’ve chosen Bird’s Eye Chilis to create a delicious hot sauce that you can use as a sauce for chicken wings, or to simply drizzle over your egg avocado toast, and with other countless ways to spice up your next dish.


  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 2 Red peppers
  • 16 Small garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Cup Bird's Eye Chilis, stems removed
  • 1 Cup white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp salt
