Cacao tea is brewed from the husks of cacao beans after being dried and roasted.
Cacao tea is full o antioxidants and also contains theobromine, which is responsible for our well-being, but also that facilitates blood circulation and reduces stress. Out of all the ways to taste chocolate, drinking cacao husk tea is easily the healthiest
You can try cacao tea as you would any other herbal tea; Place a few teaspoons in a cup, brew with hot water and leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes. Or you can make “hot cocoa” with your cacao tea by adding in some coconut milk, a teaspoon of honey, and a dash of cinnamon.
It’s also possible to turn it into a chocolate iced tea, brew it up as normal and pop it in the fridge we do suggest a sweetener though as it does go bitter gradually.
